converters and adaptor plugs for Chile, Argentina, and Brazil

We will be in these 3 countries and all of the appliances that we will be taking....camera battery chargers, electric razor, and curling iron.....have dual voltage. So, we will not need a converter.....just an adaptor...is that correct?
Also, I am somewhat confused about which adaptors to use. Do we need the dual parallel flat blades and the dual round pins?
Also, if anyone has recently done the lake crossing from Chile to Argentina, what kind of weather did you have? We leave for the trip on April 14th.
Thanks for any information.
