Closed Archaeological Sites in Belize

The following notice has been issued by The Institute of Archaeology, NICH Belize...

The Institute of Archaeology, NICH hereby advises all tour operators, tour guides and the general public that the following sites are CLOSED for visitation until further notice:

Xunantunich
Barton Creek
Actun Tunichil Muknal
Nohoch Che'en

The Institute is monitoring the situation and will be issuing periodic updates.
