I just found out my "international" voicestream phone won't work in Mexico. Can anyone recommend any other options for a two week trip to Mexico City and Oaxaca?

I think ATT will work just on roaming.

Or you could buy a pre-paid card cell phone in Mexico. You should be able to get a phone from US$30, with $30-35 US worth of calls.

Try at supermarkets or Sanborn's stores (there are many in Mexico City). Many supermarkets have little stores inside or around them, and usually there's at least one that sells cell phones.<BR><BR>If you are going to get a prepaid, try getting a Telcel Amigo. They have much better coverage than other companies.
