Caving & Mayan Ruins Tours
I am looking into some day tours out of San Ignacio and am wondering which ones to choose (Mayawalk tours seems to be the most reasonably priced)...
For caving, it's either Caves Branch tubing or the Actun Tunichil Muknal tour, and then for mayan ruins, either Caracol or Tikal.
Any advice? Thanks!

Tikal and Caracol are very different. We love both of them. Chose whatever suits your schedule and budget. The best part of visiting Tikal was staying there for a couple nights. Only small part of Caracol is excavated.

Katie, you mentioned that you'd choose Emilio over Mayawalk for the Actun TM tour- can you tell me why?
Are they comparable in price?
Would you recommend Mayawalk's Caves Branch, Tikal and Caracol tours?

I did the Actun Tunichil Muknal with Mayawalk and loved it. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting very wet and grimy! I wore sneakers that took a while to dry, but I know people who wore sport sandals with socks and were fine.
