Is it a nice place? Are there a lot restaurants in walking distance? Would I need a car there?

No you would not need a car.

The hotel is located in "The Marina" district, which is about 15 mins. taxi ride from downtown PV, about 5 mins. from the airport.

There are some restaurants walking distance around the Marina area. And literally hundreds more in other parts of the city, like if you catch a bus or taxi downtown to Centro or Zona Romantica.

Yes it's a very nice hotel. I especially like the huge beautiful pool area. The atmosphere feels like a typical Marriott as far as inside the rooms, but with a little Mexican flair (landscape, open lobby area, etc.)

I have stayed there many times. Great pool with swim up bar, very nice rooms and wonderful staff.

Our typical day is to walk over to the marina for breakfast, spend the day at the pool/beach and then take a taxi into town for wandering around and cocktails/dinner.
