Cancun / Playa del Carmen with Young Kids
I am looking to spend the last week of August in Cancun and/or PDC. Last year we stayed at the JW Marriott in Cancun and had a great time (we upgraded to a Suite).
I am considering going back to the JW Marriott but wanted to see if anybody have any ideas of a good resort (accessible from Cancun airport) that is good option for us. I have 10 nights so can also split the trip in 2 stays.
My kids are 7 and 2 so looking for something family friendly and ideally with the possibility to upgrade to a suite. Looking for a nice place (4-5 stars).
Thank you in advance for your help!

We love Moon Palace between Cancun and Playacar. It has so much for kids to do. Our 7 yr old daughter has been going there with us for years now, and loves it! The kids clubs there are unbelievable. We have to drag her out to go to the pool for family time. They have a great kids pool with slides, fountains etc for the little ones. I highly recommend it for families with young children. I posted a whole album of the kids club/activities photos in a Palace Forum group. You can view all the photos and resorts at https://www.facebook.com/groups/PalaceForum/

This may be non-responsive, but you might want to look at a condo in PDC or Playacar. You can pick up some groceries but you'll likely eat out frequently in PDC anyway (so AI might not be a great idea).

It sadly has been too long since I've been there to make a rec. They were building left and right when I was there. you might try VRBO to see what comes up. And in my experience not all condos in the same facility are equal (because some owners do a better job of upkeep/improvements).
