Cancun Palace Resort to become Hard Rock Hotel- Family vacation concerns!!

Its supposed to offically rebrand in Decemeber 2012. Our family vacation with two toddlers is over Thanksgiving. I am a bit worried about the quality of service, especially the Kid's club and staff- do you think we should consider moving over to Beach Palace?
