Cancun Airfare

I'm going to Cancun and Cozumel over Thanksgiving this year. It will be an open jaw flight - San Francisco to Cancun, then from Cozumel back to San Francisco.

The tickets I found were for $540, taxes included, with 1 layover each way.

Is this considered cheap for Thanksgiving?? I can't tell.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I traveled there on Thanksgiving Day itself last year and it was more inexpensive that day than any around it. I don't remember my exact price but I know it wasn't over $350. Now the prices have gone up and I'm paying around $390 for June which is way more than I paid in June last year.

For _over_ Thanksgiving, that sounds pretty good.

As clokid pointed out, you might do better if you happen to be traveling _on_ Thanksgiving.

That would be Frontier from Denver. Worryfree has a price of $308 from Denver air only in June also. I just really like Frontier..on time, non-stop and decent arrival times.

But rampup82 was asking what to expect in prices from San Francisco. Giving a price from another city and not explaining where the flight is from, is misleading.
