Hi,
We are planning to go to Cabo San Lucas in November with few friends. We all have kids ranging from 1 year to 7 year olds. Do anyone has experience with Riu Palace - is it a decent property and fun with kids?

Not sure about RIU, but friends have stayed at Villa del Palmar with kids and liKed the kid amenities. We always stay at Pueblo Bonito properties which are great.
Cabo San Lucas is a great vacation spot!! Sorry I don't have any experience with the RIU or traveling with kids. I nkow the resort sits a little ways outside the town.
The RIU's in general are a budget/family friendly AI resort chain. Their "Palace" resorts are in general "better" and have more amenities than their general resorts. They typically get good reviews from people with large groups, families and/or the the budget conscience. Not so much from couples or people with really high expectations. The old saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. Check the reviews on Trip Advisor for additional information.
From my research they are located away from the main area and a taxi will be necessary. We are booked for December at the Marina Fiesta. We don't have kids.
