Cabo San Lucas ideas anyone?
We're going to Cabo San Lucas for a few days in February and am wondering if anyone had any special restaurants or unique excursion ideas to share!
I've noticed Cabo San Lucas posters aren't too active here compared to TA, but thought I would check anyway! Thanks in advance!

We have a timeshare in Cabo , so we go yearly ( 4 times) so far. We stay at Playa Grande and we love to eat at the Blue Marlin next to it. It is at the top of the hotel next to Playa Grande. I don't remember the name of the hotel but it has always been good. Our kids love it because you have a great view. Ther is another restaurant that is on a cliff but i don't recall the name, but if you ask someone will be able to tell you . It has a spectacular view and is definetly worth it. Hope this helps

Romeo y Julieta in downtown Cabo is fab and they make one of the best tableside caesar salad..they have been in Cabo for many years and is always very busy..
Trailer Park restaurant
"La Golondaria" is one of my fav's too but it is very pricey but outstanding and has a huge following..
Nothing beats having dinner at sunset at "The Office" in the sand, eating lobster and having marg's with the gorgeous view of Los Arcos..

You are right about Romeo & Jullietts. I had forgotten about it because the night we went my son was so sunburned he cried the whole time! Reminder: wear LOTS of sunscreen and a hat!!! There is a good Mexican restaurant down the side street from the supermarket. Of course I don't know the name, just that the margaritas are potent!

Dear Jayneann:
Here is a link to our trip report from last Feb.

I really like Mi Casa, which is not too expensive. For very nice, but pricey we really liked Edith's. The last time we were there, it seemed like the Office had gotten overpriced for what you got, plus the crowd, by 4pm was pretty wasted. To each his own.
Have fun. We also went last October and took a ride out to Todo Santos. It was very charming and laid back.

Hi There,
I just got back last week and we like going to Alexander It's asmall open restaurant at the marnia so you get to people watch and have a great meal. You have to try the Office at least once while your there, maybe in the Afternoon. If you go to Todas Santos stop at Art & Beer. and great place to go for snorkling for the day is Chileno Beach just out of town.

bamababe, Lucky you to have a timeshare there!! We are staying at Estancia. Is that near Playa Grande and the restaurants you recommended?
TahitiTams,
I remember you suggesting Margs and the fish tacos across from the Del!! Since we never had a chance to eat there whild in SD, I'll have to make sure I try one of these restaurants!!! Actually, I have read about La Golondaria! Sounds awesome!! And yes, I want to get to the Office too!!
MichelleY, Thanks for the link! When I finish here, I'm going to read it!! Also, Todo Santos sounds great, but it's a couple of hours away, right? We only have 4 days!!
leanne150, Thanks for the suggestions! I'd love to try snorkeling at Chileno Beach!
Again, Thanks!!

Hi Jayneann,
I remember you..
Didn't I recommend you to George's in LJ?
Hopefully you will have at least 3 days and where you are staying is at the end of Medano Beach..ask for the arch view.
great beach to swim and you can walk to the Office for a late lunch/happy hour.
There used to be a water taxi shuttle to and from to Marina Fiesta which is a real help at the end of the day.
There are alot of great restaurants in Cabo and you don't need to spend alot of money to have a great meal.
The best fish tacos were on the marina at Costa Real Cabo (outside patio) for a buck a piece and cold Pacifico's for $2..
Have fun.

I like San Jose del Cabo a lot. It has great restaurants (Morgan's and the less expensive just as good Morgan's). I also love Zipper's on the beach. You will feel so relaxed having a beer (it is not only a bar)overlooking the ocean without tons of tourists or people constantly asking you if you want a henna tatoo or your hair braided like at the office.
