Cabo in February

We are planning to go to Cabo in the middle of February.

Can anyone tell me:

1. Is the temperature generally warm enough in mid February for swimming or snorkeling.

2. Is there a website you can recommend for Cabo activities.

Thank you.

Dear Bunk:

Yes, the temp will be great in Feb. However, we found the water a little cold for snorkling: not like the water in Hawaii.

You may want to check the Los Cabos board on Tripadvisor. It is very active with lots of info and tips.

Have a nice trip,

MY

Cabo does not have alot of snorkling/swimming but the weather is gorgeous that time of year...not too hot during the day and cool at night! Enjoy your trip!!! www.bajainsider.com is a good website but you can google Cabo and get a lot of information also. Where are you planning to stay? Are on the corridor or in San Jose or in the town of Cabo? We have been every year for the last 5 years and abolutely love Cabo!!!

We're staying at the Westin in the corridor.

I'm planning on renting a car. Please let me know whether you find a car helpful.

Also, do you have any suggestions as to who to use for activities such as whalewatching and ATV or other activities you enjoyed and what restaurants to eat at.

Thank you.

We've stayed at the Westin a couple of times, nice place and a car is helpful since you're a long way from anything but the Westin. They run a shuttle into Cabo every hour or so but still having a car gives you flexibility.

The beach in front of the Westin is too rocky for swimming but the 'infinity pools' are great there.

any suggestions as to who to use for activities such as whalewatching and ATV or other activities

The front desk can help you plan these activities, mostly in Cabo about 15 miles away. If you take the Westin Time Share tour you'll get a big discount, but check the threads on time share arm-twisting.

Dear Bunk:

I did a trip report on our trip last year. I will try to top it for you. We did a snorkle trip wil Pez Gato. It was very nice, good lunch & cocktails. We snorkled at Santa Maria beach, which was a little too cold to stay in for long.

My favorite place to eat is Mi Casa: I always have the Carnitas Michoacan. Great!!
