We are 23 years old and going to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We are traveling on a pretty tight budget and were hoping to find a nice hotel in Manuel Antonio with good views for about $80 a night. Any recommendations or is everything more expensive? Also, we only have five days and enjoy adventure travel. Would you recommend MA over Arenal? Thanks so much for your help.

If you want to stay in town, the Best Western is very nice and a great deal, approx. $60/night . . . and they have rooms with sea view.
We are seniors and didn't want to stay out in or near the park, as we didn't have a car and didn't want to pay for a taxi or wait for the buses, we like to be closer to the action. We like to be able to walk around the town, see all the eating/drinking spots, we don't like relaxing or a lot of downtime.
The BW's restaurant is open air and has a nice view of the water . . . they have a pool and a computer in the lobby for the guests.
There are cheaper places in town, but the BW was inexpensive and really comfortable. Their Costa Rican BW website gave better prices than the US site.

Try La Posada Jungle. If you're traveling off season rooms can be had for $50 and high season is $100.00. It's right next to the park.
Costa Verde II is adult only, but not sure if you could get it for $80.
