Belize December for 1 month

I'm going to Belize for the month of December
2 adults & 2 x12 year olds
We are going to The Lodge at Chaa Creek for the first week
Then possibly Chabil Mar ,Placencia the 2nd week
I think we would like to go somewhere else inland for the 3 rd week & then possibly back to
Coco Resort ,Ambergeris for the final week
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
We don't want to go back to the Cayo area for the 3rd week
Any help would be really appreciated !

How about one of the lodges down around Punta Gorda? Or, hop on a boat and go down to Livingston/Rio Dulce in Guatemala?

Ok, confession time, I haven't been to the Punta Gorda area yet. That said, Cotton Tree Lodge looks awesome, if expensive. We'll be much more likely to stay at Hickatee Cottages.

I'm going to spend the night at Lamanai Outpost tonight. The lodges Jeanh mentioned are both good and also look at Big Falls lodge and Blue Belize on the edge of PG town, a very nice B&B. Toledo is fascinating, close to both jungle, rivers and sea, multi cultural, dense forest, Maya sites, caves, waterfalls and more. Well worth visiting and close to Placencia beaches.
