Ballet Folklorico de Cancun - Worthwhile?

Hello fellow travelers.

My fiance and I will be honeymooning in Cancun during June 15th-June 20th. We were interested in going to the Ballet Folklorico de Cancun (at the convention center).

Is it worth it? How was the food and the performance?

Honest opinions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

It has been years since we've been to Cancun, though we've since been to many different parts of Mexico and love it.
I strongly recommend the Folkloric ballet if you have never been to one. A real treat. The first one I ever saw was at the Cancun Convention Center and it was great! Very professional. The food was Mexican buffet and good, but not fantastic...but that was many years ago. Well worth the trip.
