BA Hotel Choice -- Loi Suites Recoleta or Malabia House?

I need to choose between Loi Suites Recoleta and Malabia House in Palermo for a first-time trip to BA. We are experienced travelers. I have been back and forth on the pros and cons of each in terms of location and amenities. My greatest concern about Malabia House is that it may be noisy. Does anyone have personal expierence with either or both of these places?? Thanks.

I stayed at LoiSuites Recoleta last month. I posted a review on tripadvisor. I am pasting it below.

I was booked into this hotel by Cintia Stella of WOW! Argentina. I requested the hotel and she handled all the details of my stay. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is excellent!
The hotel was much as described, a step down in style and price from the Alvear and Four Seasons, but not far from their neighborhood. The actual neighbors are in Recoleta Cemetary which is just across from the hotel. Our room overlooked the cemetary. The room was a non smoking double with airconditioning. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nicely done but lacked counter space. The room in general had an attractive appearance and was of good size. There was a wet bar, microwave and fridge in the room.
The breakfast was a large buffet featuring fruits, breads, cereals, cold meats, yogurt and cooked eggs/bacon. The setting for breakfast was lovely. There is a very nice lobby and bar, done in white and beige with fresh floral accents. The pool is very nice and there is a well equipped weight room and small spa. Free access to the internet is available in the business center.
The welcoming staff at the lobby entrance is very professional and charming. They are all bilingual and will do anything to be of assist

Let me know if I can answer any questions. Oh, the hotel rooms were very quiet.

Stayed at both LoiSuites Recoleta (also booked thru Cinitia Stella) and at Malabia House (booked online myself.) We atayed in the front room upstairs in Malabia House and it was very quiet. We had several rooms in Loisuites-the first facing the cemetery on the 8th floor was quiet. The 2nd, a jr suite, on the top floor had a weird noise from the roof and we were moved. Next room was quiet. Breakfasts at Malabia House are very nice, but can't compare with LoiSuites which has a huge buffet. And of course one is small and the other a rather large, impersonal hotel. Although the staff at LoiSuites were quite helpful. They are both very nice and I would make the decison based on the location you prefer. We prefered the area where malabia House was. Walks to Recoleta are doable if you enjoy walking or take cabs which are very cheap.

I think the Loi Suites is great if you want to be right in the middle of the Recoleta neighborhood and be close to the tourist sites, Recoleta Cemetary, Museums, downtown. But Malabia House is smaller more personal and in a good eating/shopping neighborhood.
You will end up taking cabs here and there anyway, they are very affordable so that is not a problem..hard choice you have
