Anyone travelled to Zancudo before?

Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed in this area. I have booked a week on the beach for next February at Cabinas los Cocos. Any feedback much appreciated.

www.zancudo.com

I have pretty rustic not a lot of there there

not bad for a laid back place but frankly I

was bored to death... beach was nothing special

nearby Golfito was pretty ugly...

hotellunallena.com playamontezuma.net prettier for beach

www.lookout-inn.com or Cabinas PJ nice cheap for

Osa corcovado.org wildlife.

Happy deciding,

Thanks, qwo. Was there any wildlife at Zancudo? We have been to Montezuma 3 times, loved it, but want to try something different this time because we will be renting a house in Ojochal prior to our week on the beach, and it is closer to the Osa.I will check out your other suggestions.

crlover - do a search for poster Floridafran, from 2-4 years ago. She had a detailed report on Pavones and pretty sure they drove there. Know Pavones isn't exactly where you're going but it's on the way so to speak and may have some advice you can use in there.
