Antigua, Guatemala is a Gem!

My wife and I just visited Antigua, Guatemala for the first time and what a gem of a city it is. Sure it is overpriced and packed with tourists, but if you get beyond that there is so much more.

The crafts available are unbelievable, the vendors are not pushy like other places, the architecture and history is fabulous, and the dining is amazing.

We ate at a little out of the way restaurant called Sarandib, and it was an amazing experience. The service was top notch, and the setting was beautiful, but the best part was the food. We loved it.

For anyone visiting Guatemala, you must not miss Antigua
