antigua for New Years

We are going on a very last minute trip to Antigua.. just decided last night. I haven't even started looking for hotels.
Has anyone gone for the New Year? I have been to Guatemala twice this year and love Antigua but I know it's going to be much different over the holiday.
Any advice.. I know I have to start looking for hotels right away.. Oh, and we will only be there three nights.
