We stayed here during Christmas week 2012. We couldn't wait to get home. Two out of three pools were down including the children's pool. The food at the restaurant was cold, including cold scrambled eggs,, YUK.
The staff were overworked, underpaid and the lines were long getting a drink or getting into the restaurant.
The rooms were outdated, need repairs.
I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. There are many other nicer places on Cozumel closer to town and you can choose your restaurants.
That is my plan for next time.

You are right, there are much better places to stay on Cozumel then that resort. Hopefully, before your next vacation, you use these forums to research your choices before booking.
I don't recommend Caribbean Mexico too often in the winter months as the pools are too cold to swim in for most people. Try Cabo next time. Most resorts there have heated pools.
