A Day in Delores Hidalgo

Jump to last reply

Took a local bus yesterday to this lovely, bustling city which was the Cradle of the Mexican Revolution.
It's town square is among the prettiest in all of Mexico. Its pottery industry is among the best anywhere. The Museo, Cathedral & it's delicious ice cream sold at every corner of the plaza alone makes the trip worthwhile.
The just over an hour ride from Guanajuato is through high mountains, quaint villages up to the mountain mesa where it sits.
If your in the area a place for a special day.
