10 day for $950, expensive or not?

We are thinking about a Mexico trip in April. One 10-day tour at the top of our list has itinerary like: Cancun, Chichen Itza, Merida, Uxmal, Campeche, Palenque, Bacalar, Cenote Azul, Tulum, Xel Ha Marine Park, Playa Del Carmen. It's not all inclusive, but a guided tour. The price is around $950. Is that expensive? If so, can you suggestion some less expensive tours with similar itinerary? Thanks!

Is the $950 price per person - ground transportation, guided tours and hotels (double occupancy) included? But airfare and food would be additional?

You are right. $950 includes everthing you mentioned and all entrance fee. But airfare and food are not included.

$95 a day per person for hotel, tours, entrance fees, and transportation sounds reasonable to me....

If you are interested in seeing all those different places and don't mind a very short time in each, sounds like it could work for you.

I've never done a tour since I like to be independent and go to only one town per trip... but for the logistics of this itinerary, I wouldn't try it solo.

You might want to post the name of the tour operator, to see if you can get specific feedback about that company and how they operate their tours, what kind of hotels they use, etc.
