clicking the back button isn't very efficient, and scrolling up through a long thread takes too much time.
How about a "Back to the Top" button at the end of every thread

At the bottom of the thread just above the empty box to enter a reply, there is a "Back to top" link (to the left of the "Add a reply" button on the grey strip).
I actually would like to see a "Back to Top" button at the bottom of each day-archive page.
For example, if I'm looking at the whole day's activity of Europe for today, when I strolled to the bottom, it would be nice to be able to jump right back to the top.

Thanks all. I was looking in the wrong spot. Wonder why not a button, like the Add a reply, Submit, and Preview.
Thanks for the feedback--we'll consider making it a button.
YK--we were going to add a "back to the top" but we're close to finishing a better way of "pagination" for the archive pages. But I'll keep this suggestion in mind and will test it in the new version we are developing.
Could we have a "back to the top" button at the bottom of every page???
For instance, on the Europe forum, if I select France as country and view the threads,
it would be great to be able to quickly return to top.
