If I were to contemplate travelling the world over just for the women, I would have to say 'It must be the first week of spring' or something similar.

But honestly, the women you find in the backyard next door probably have the most beautiful fur.

I haven't been all over the world - just parts of the US and Canada, England, France and Italy - but I was shocked by the number of beautiful women I saw in Paris.

My H says they have export models and keepers in Italy!

But I thought Paris was defintely in the running next to Dallas, But what do I know I'm a woman!

On the flip side, where does one find more gorgeous men than in Rome? Sounds like a cliche, but I thought Roman men were sensational.

It is probably impossible to generalize an answer to the question. However, here is my opinion.

Americans originally came from many countries. Therefore, there are different facial features. Italians or French or Japanese or Chinese have their own unusual features. It is probably impolite to discuss details like noses, etc.

In my opinion, because of certain facial features, French women look better than French men. However, English features favor men so English men look ok.

Swedish men look better than Swedish women because Swedish, in general, look aged, especially if they have sun damaged skin. Men seem a bit less affected with sun damaged skin. Japanese women tend to avoid sun so they look better than Japanese men, who don't care about the sun (or are too stupid).

The most beautiful exotic shapely women I have ever seen in my life were in Brazil.

From my experiences in the south of France, married women are with not very attractive husbands, and the Spain and Italian influences have created great looking guys .. but I've not met or seen any beautiful women yet.

Men in Rome were very good looking and amazingly dressed ...

But the Swedish girls I've met are quite beautiful with their perfect skin and large, open eyes. Their male counterparts, I've been told, look "too pretty."

I have met or seen beautiful women in almost every country that I've been in, but the largest percentage in any group that I've seen (so far) was in Sweden.

Zeus, you gave away your tastes in your earlier posts about sheep. There's physical attractiveness and then there's real beauty. Disputing others' taste is a silly way to reveal your own limitations, in this case a preference for the inflatable.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Define beauty. I don't know what women see, but my experience lends me to believe that men see images of mother and credit that female as most beautiful. As a practical matter, male or female needs to be, healthy, and smiling! Tastes change!

There seems to be agreement that beauty is purely subjective . . . what does it say about the people who claim Paris has the prettiest women? Is it a fashion comment?

The prettiest woman is any woman I am looking at after I've had at least 6 beers (yes, I was sober when I met my wife).

A beautiful woman is one who is confident, intelligent, and sophisticated. The women of Spain are without a doubt the most beautiful women in the world.

You forgot kindness and compassion. A person -- either female or male -- who lacks those qualities cannot be said to possess inner beauty.

As for outer beauty, I find the women in Italy enchanting.

After a quick count, (TX, AR, MS, TN, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, LA TX is really SW but I added it for US's benefit) the south makes up for about 24% of the winners of the Miss America Pageant. The big winners are Ohio and California with 6 each and Pennsylvania and Illinois with 5 each. 95%? hmmmmmm ... Don't think so. Seems like an pretty even distibution throughout with the exception of the northern plain (must be something in that word plain) states.
