ZACH IN THE CINQUE TERRE

My 18yr old son and his best friend are going to Italy in July for a month. They are going to the Cinque Terre for a few days. Where would be a good place for to 18 year olds to stay? They will be on their own. Not expensive, but clean is the only request.
