Yet another train question - Strasbourg to CDG
I had no trouble booking seats from Paris to Strasbourg and printing up the tickets. But for some reason I am unable to confirm nor print up tickets for Strasbourg to CDG on November 12. I have used the simple translator suggested on this forum to try to see what the problem is, but none of the phrases I've translated gives me a clue. And I cannot be certain whether my credit card has been charged.
Any ideas? Are we better off going to the train station in person (I don't speak or read French, but my husband does) and trying to figure this out?

Why don't you post what you are actually seeing?
I plugged in arbitrary time and got only reimbursable tickets for Strasbourg-CDG. I have yet seen printing option for reimbursable tickets.
For the Strasbourg-CDG, I presume you are given one of these choices,
Service Pro inclus.
For Paris-Strasbourg, I see non reimbursable tickets. Those tickets are usually printable as you have found out.
Paris-Strasbourg is something like this?
2e classe : Echangeable avant création et impression, avec retenue de 10€. Non remboursable. Paiement en ligne. Billet à imprimer vous-même.Tarif exclusif Internet.

2 ways to see if your card has been charged:
- You should receive an email confirming your purchase. Be sure to check your bulk bin or spam trap.
- Call your credit card company. They'll know!

Of course you cannot print reimbursable tickets, the whole reason you can print some is because they are nonrefundable and prepaid, so they don't have to worry about someone printing ten million copies of the same ticket.

PS,
Loisir fares are exchangeable, that's why they can't be printed.
To have the tickets sent to your hotel, choose "Recevoir votre billet gratuitement par courrier".
To pick them up at a train station or SNCF Boutique, choose " Retirer votre billet aux guichets d'une gare ou boutique SNCF en vous munissant du numéro de dossier et de la carte bancaire utilisée pour le paiement".
Make sure to bring the same CC that you used to make the booking.

Ah, that explains it.
Thank you all once again for your insights!
I'm finally taking the little trip to Strasbourg that I missed in the summer of '07, the day after the new TGV service started. I had my reservation and my tickets printed up, but had to pass on the day trip because of a knee problem. Can't wait to be in France again. We leave in a week!
Aloha,
Leburta
