"Yesterday in London We Experienced All 4 Seasons"

That is what one gal on NBC's Olympic coverage team chortled about the fickle London weather - hot, cold, wet, sunny - the point being for tourists you must be prepared for all types of weather - hot, cool, rainy, fall, spring, summer, etc.

Layering with at least one waterproof garment is the best way to prepare for British weather IME - when those proverbial sunny spells pop out the temps can soar only to rapidly cool off if winds pop up and the inevitable clouds and rain reappear.

Prepare for all types of weather in Britain - layering if the way to go IME!
