Wow. We spent last Friday night in Alicante for 25E!
We decided to go to visit some friends in town in Alicante , 2 hours from Valencia, for the night.
Looking for a hotel, I saw the typical ones we usually consider, and then there was ONE that had a special 25E flash sale at booking.com..
I looked at it on several websites comparing comments and photos, showed it and others to my husband and decided to try it out. It is always good to know about these places that seem too good to be true!
It is called Hotel Rambla. http://hotelrambla.es/
it is on the Las Ramblas, and has very cheap parking agreement ( 8E/24 hours) up the street 50 m.
You can walk everywhere from there.
The room was fine. Fairly large with plenty of space around the beds with a large armoire. The hallways were narrow. It has an elevator. Good AC in the room. Nice sized bathroom. Basic decor, and basic amenities but we were totally surprised and satisfied with our find.
If it had been the normal 50E we would have gone elsewhere, but it was fun to try this out this time and proved worth the risk!

That's an amazing price and a good location to boot? Good deals are so much fun to be had. This reminds me of hotel prices we'd pay when taking the kids to Disney World when they were little. What a thrill to get a great price.
