I love to travel and many have told me I should lead tours. As much as I enjoy travel I think the being a tour guide would take the fun out of travel. Being responsible for all these other people.
If someone loses their passport, traveler checks, luggage, etc. you are responsible for ironing things out. All the whining and complaining of others about water pressure in the shower, hard beds, too much of this or too little of that, bad food, etc. would fall on your shoulders.
Worst of all, I could never live on the road away from my loved ones for an extended period of time.
Would you want to be a Tour Guide?

No point Sally, just looking to see if others feel the same way.
Homey, stop whining and finish your beer.
