That's pretty much the question. I had been thinking of Rome because there's enough to do if it's raining a lot, but Puglia looks good and I haven't been there. We would be coming from London and stay for 5 nights, and about 5.5 days.
Thanks.
Would you go to Puglia in 2nd half of October?

We had 5 nights in the 2nd half of October, 2010. One of our most delightful holidays.
Click on my name for a lengthy and (may I say it?) insightful trip report.
We liked the Salentino peninsula but others like the more northerly parts of Puglia. It'd be hard to convince me.... but.... others may make a case for northern parts.
Thanks tedgale. I do think your trip reports are insightful, and you seem to have an interest in some of things I like. I'm going to read right now.
