Would someone from Turkey be willing to call "Sun Express" for me?
I want to fly from Izmir to Kayseri on a Wed or Thurs in May. Pegasus doesn't seem to fly those days (although I swear when I looked two days ago they had a wed flight!).
SunExpress lists flights, but they stop in March. Would someone be willing to call them and see if it is just too early or if they are cancelling the route all together? I don't see a US or international call center.
Otherchelebi I think I found your email from a web site but didn't want to be rude and email you directly - so hoping you will see it here
If I cant fly - what about a train to Konya spending a night there and then driving on? Or I supposed we can fly to Ankara but it is such a long drive from there to Cap.

The ultimate goal is to get from Izmir to somewhere near Cap. on a Wed or Thursday (early). Or possible Tuesday late-ish so we could have the day for Ephesus.
However transportation doesn't seem to be cooperating.
So my understanding is there is an overnight train from Izmir to Konya - and then we could drive from Konya to Goreme (if we could rent a car in Konya). How long was the drive from Konya to Goreme? Was it nice?
Thanx

I see a bunch of contact numbers on the Sun Express website ??

We left Goreme early morning, did a hike in Ilhara valley, lunch there, stopped at underground city (more a cave), arrived Konya near dinner time.
Konya is a bit different city, more conservative.
Drive from Ankara I thought was interesting, some wide open plains, then you start to see the weird Cap formations.
