Would love some guidance on guides in St Petersburg.

Jump to last reply

Our first ever large ship cruise will be in June-July '06 and include a two day stop for St Petersburg. (Health is dictating less independent travel these days. Too bad, but we're still going places) I don't want to go on the ship's tour. From what I've read here private guides are the way to go. I've seen recommendations here for Red October and tourservice.sp.ru. Are there any others? I will try to hook up with a few others on board for a small group. Yes?
Since it's my first cruise, I don't yet know how to go about pulling this off, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
