Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen?

We are going to Copenhagen and wondered if anyone could suggest a "boutique type" 3 star hotel in the Tivoli area?

We recently travelled to Italy and found all the help given to us by fellow Fodorites great, so thought we'd ask for help again.

You might want to look into the Hotel "The Square". It is an Arp-Hansen property, a local chain of hotels which usually get pretty good reviews.

Hi aussie: The very well thought of (on this Board) Hotel Danmark is very well located, a three star, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and wel appointed rooms. It is about two blocks from Tivoli, a block from the Stroget (the main, pedestrian only street through the old town) and across the street from the City Hall. Try to get a room at the top facing toward the back of the hotel for great views over the roof tops of the Old Town. We enjoyed this hotel very much. Have a great trip.

Another vote for the Hotel Danmark. We loved the service and the breakfast. The main train station is a short walk as well as Tivoli, etc. The rooms are small and our bathroom was tiny. We would stay there again.

The Radisson SAS was remodeled to its original Arne Jacobsen interior design. The rooms (especially those that overlook Tivoli Gardens) are architectural retro masterpieces. Nice bar on the ground floor as well.
