Wine tours - without a car and on a budget!

Jump to last reply

I am traveling to Tuscany with a friend at the end of September, going to Pisa, Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Saint Antamo, San Quirico D’orcia, Pienza, Montepulcian, Lucca. We will have 9 nights and walk between some of the towns.

We are on a tight budget but I would really like to see some vineyards and taste some wines. We will not have a car.

Fodorites have been very helpful in planning my itinerary so I just wondered are there any tips for a good inexpensive wine tour or could we include any trips to vineyards in the walking part of our trip.

Any suggestions/recommendations much appreciated.
