Do AVE trains in Spain have WiFi connections?
Thanks

no, I dont' think so, not yet. It is planned, but I think only a few deluxe tourist route trains have Wifi to date (e.g., Al Andalus).

sometimes first class has it in some countries free and if 2nd class does it's often charged - www.seat61.com may have info on Spanish trains.

No wi-fi on Spanish trains. Everything has been a victim of the desire for cheap discounted fares, and that include meals, which are only available on AVE long distance trains, during the week. Renfe had to cut what was not necessitary to survive the crisis.

Since we use T-Mobile and the iPhone, it's not necessary to have access to wi-fi when out on the road.

Thanks. I just won't be online while on a train. No problem.

I used my T-Mobile phone's hotspot and unlimited data all over Germany while on the trains. I booked at least two hotels from the train that way.
