"White Pages" /people search in Netherlands?

Does anyone know of a website where I could try to locate someone (address or email) I knew a long time ago in the Netherlands? Thank you.

Grandmere, this is the website for the national telephone directory:
http://www.telefoongids.ptt-telecom.nl/
It seems to be only in Dutch. You can fill in name (naam) and hometown (woonplaats).
Have a go; you might get lucky. If you need any help, post another message.

I think the city is 'S Gravenhage; can that be correct, Tulip?
The site did not work well for me. I'll try again and let you know what message I did not understand.

Thanks very much.

You might also try http://www.infobel.com/netherlands/ which is in English.
's-Gravenhage will probably be listed as "Den Haag".

Myriam, I was able to get an address and phone number with your site; thank you.

Another question for you and perhaps Tulip, too.

The entry read: Doe, drs JR (not real name, obviously)

Does this mean that there are 2 Dr. J. R.Does at this residence? I don't even know if Dr. refers to "doctor" in Dutch.

Thanks again for any help!

Drs. J.R. Doe = one person with 2 first names. Drs (doctorandus) is the same as bachelor-master.

Tulips, please correct me if I'm wrong!

That makes sense; I didn't think it referred to an "MD", but didn't know what it meant. Thank you!

Another question: would mail be addressed Drs John R. Doe or John R. Doe, drs. (It was not capitalized in the web directory) Mille fois merci!
