This guy must be working for the Govt travel agency. The only real ceremony is held at only specific occasions in a city a long way from Istanbul. Tourist trap, anyone?
Let's get our facts straight.Although Konya is the spiritual home of the Whirling Dervishes and hosts the Dervish Festival in December it is not the only place one can witness the ceremony. Both the Rough Guide and the Knoph Guide for Istanbul indicate that the best ceremony is indeed in Istanbul.
Thank you Nurdogan for your continued input regarding your country.I am looking forward to my visit in May.
