Hi all, We are leaving on July 3 for our much awaited holiday to Switzerland. We land in to Zurich and then take a train to Wengen. We will be there for 5 nights and would like to do the usual day trips by train.
After that we would take the train to the nearest big town (Interlaken maybe ?..) to be able to pick up a car and would be driving around for the rest of the trip which would have us based near Gruyeres for 6 nights and in Melchsee Frutt for 3 nights before flying back from Zurich.
We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 9 and 5) and this is our first time without a car...
Your help is much appreciated.
