Which Stop for the Hotel Saint-Jacques on Rue des Ecoles
Hi guys, I was hoping someone would know which stop we need to get off of the RER (coming from Charles de Gaulle - B line) in order to get to our hotel, Saint-Jacques located at 35 Rue des Ecoles? Does anyone know if we need to transfer from the B line to the Metro?
I have downloaded a fantastic app to my phone of the public transportation system in Paris but for the purpose of getting to the hotel after an all night flight from the States, I want to be prepared as it is our first time in Paris. We arrive on Saturday morning.f
Thanks for any help!

Hello, did you look at a Paris map? The closest RER station is St.Michel - Notre Dame, 700m to the hotel. The closest Metro station is Maubert-Mutualité on No10, 180m to the hotel ( distances from Google map). St.Michel - Notre Dame RER station seems to be connected to Cluny-la Sorbonne station ( No.10) by a (long) underground passage. Maubert-Mutualité is only 1 stop from Cluny S. I don't know how hard the connection between 2 lines is when carrying your luggage. Only with cabin sized ones, would be easy enough.

How many of you are there and hoe much luggage will you have. Would you have any trouble maneuvering it along long underground passageways and up and downstairs?
If not - the directions above are fine.
If you will - I would just grab a cab - esp after an overnight flight.

Thanks everyone. It is just my husband and myself and we each have one piece of luggage (on wheels) which should be easy enough to maneuver.
Kappa1, I don't know how I missed it on the hotel's website because it is right next to the RER. DUH!

I don't know what you are looking at on the website, they give a map and say which stops it is near, but it is definitely not right next to the RER. You can see that on the map (sort of, there is this tag near the hotel which obscures some of the map). All you have to do is Google the hotel and you'll get a map which shows you more clearly. It is about 5 blocks from the Cluny metro exit, which is reachable by underground tunnel from the RER stop itself, which is probably around 7 blocks away.
