Hello All,
My family (2 adults and 2 children) will visit these two cities in the coming holidays.
Can you tell me more about your experience ??
I am planning to stay 4 nights in Prague and 3 nights in Budapest.
Do you have any ideas ??
Thanks for your advice.
Gavin

two questions?
Prague is very much a tourist town with the governmental buildings all together and worth a visit, then loads of places to spend money down by the bridge. Tram system is very good.
Budapest is more a real city which just happens to have tourists visiting, again a tram system and an underground but the majority of the places one might visit are closer. Again the old castle area worth a visit.
For me I love the spas of Budapest and find the city more comfortable to visit. Also, if you get bored there are other close by cities and countryside I might want to visit. Prague has a few cities nearby but not.
I'd surf this site for each city and see what has already been writen. I have no idea what children would like about these cities
