We have a Jr. Suite reserved at Hotel Flora for next May, but some people have told me this hotel is "too close" to the Piazza. We want to be close but do not want a noisy location. On Via Federico Serena. 320E - Sea View with Balcony.

We had also looked at Minerva based on Karen Brown write up, good reviews on tripadvisor, and their web site. We looked at the Deluxe rooms, but were told by Luigi that the views were "all pretty much obstructed by trees". It's on Via Occhio Marino 8. 270E with Sea View Terrace/Deluxe.

A third hotel we had considered, but could not find anyone who ever stayed here was La Certosella. It's listed in Michelin Red Guide, Knoff, Open Road, and a few other guides as "charming". It's on Via Tragara 13/15. 260E for Deluxe with Terrace with sea view in new building.

We're not interested in looking at any other hotels, as these all fit the budget and I think offer what we want. We don't care about a pool, although Certosella has one, nor a restaurant (Certosella also has this), and like smaller places.

Flora is the most expensive of the 3 (but also the biggest room, and all new), so I want to make sure the location is good.
