Where to stay in Venice/Dorsoduro: please help me to decide!

Jump to last reply

Oh, I so need help. I think I'm suffering from research overload, between Trip Advisor and slowtrav, and now you can color me confused. :-( We'll be in Venice for 3 nights after a cruise (end of September), and would like to stay in the Dorsoduro/Zattere area.

So many choices! Our budget is about 200 euro/night (but would increase a tad for the right place). Some likely spots are sold out (so now I'm feeling the pressure!), and all the apartment choices have just confused me more. We're fine with a hotel, locanda, B&B, maybe not an apartment for just 3 nights. One possibility would be Ca Santo Spirito, which seems fairly new and well liked on Venere: any Fodorites stayed there?
