My fiance and I are planning to stay a couple nights in Strasbourg this December - could anyone suggest a few ECONO/Budget places to stay. We would even consider hostels.
Thanks!

There are budget hotels throughout France, called Formule 1, which all the French people use. I have stayed in Strasbourg 4 times, at two different Formule 1's. These are incredibly cheap (around $30.00 for a couple, I think). The bathrooms and showers are down the hall, but they are really cool, as they automatically clean themselves after each use. There is a tiny breakfast nook where you get coffee and rolls in the morning. You can check in around the clock, with a credit card, at the automatic check-in at the front door.( You will be given a number code that lets you inside. )The only bad thing about these cheerful, clean hotels is they're usually located slightly out-of-town, so they may not be convenient for you if you don't have a car.
