Where to stay in Salzburg?

One night accommodation only, coming in by train. My understanding is that there are private homes on offer but not sure how to find them? Price range per night is between 50 - 100 euros. Advice on location is appreciated!

For a budget place try the Am Moos. We like to stay in the Altstadt (old town). A couple of places to check out are the Goldenen Ente and the Weisses Kreuz. The Am Moos will be closer to your budget.

There is a Salzburg pass that gets you into most of the attractions and up the funicular to the castle.
