Where to stay in London?

Hello, folks!

I'm planning to go to London in December for 5 days. I want to stay not far from the city center and for reasonable price What could you advise me?

Hi, we need more. What do you mean be a reasonable price? Given the size of London the centre can mean a shed load of places, any special views? Are you looking for a hotel or an appartment?

I'm definitely looking for an apartment. Don't want to live in hostels or hotels. And not more than for 1000 EUR. It'd be great to stay in historical center

1000 Euro? As of today, that is £890.

Five day? So you need an apartment for 4 nights?

"You may be hard pressed to find a decent apartment without bedbugs or a shared bathroom in a good, central location for £225/night" - the incantation to bring forth the people that will prove me wrong and get you a good deal (provided you give accurate dates)

Rina, you should understand that London has no one centre nor a historical centre. The attractions of the city are spread across a wide area, but I think that staying in the Tower Bridge, Tower of London area are as close as you'll get to a historical connection.

Try googling "apartments to rent London" and you'll come up with a ton of offers.

I wouldn't personally stay near Tower Bridge - prefer South Kensington, Bloomsbury, Notting Hill.
But if you are within the area of the Circle Line (look up the underground map) you're generally fine.

There are loads of options in your price range. If you come up with a shortlist, we can comment on the location.
