My wife and I will be staying in Paris a few days.
In particular in the Latin quarter section of Paris.
The Hotel we are considering is call,
"IBIS PARIS PLACE D ITALIE" and the address is
25 Avenue Stephen Pichon. We would like to get
opinions about this Hotel and other Hotels in this
section of town.

The Ibis hotel you have selected is definitely not in the Latin Quarter. It is located near Place d'Italie, in the south-east of Paris.
The Ibis hotel chain is composed of two star hotels, offering moderate comfort but with all required amenities.
The problem with the Latin Quarter is that hotels tend to be more expensive because this is a nice part of Paris, although the same hotels do not always great accomodation.
Feel free to contact me for more info. Regards. Joelle
We stayed close to the Latin Quarter- and loved the location and hotel. It's L'hotel des Grandes Ecoles, 75 Cardinale Lemoine. The street is only several blocks long, and it runs diagonally from the Seine. It's just off St. Germain, 2 Metro stops nearby - Cardinale Lemoine and Monge. fax: 011-33-1-43-25-28-15. The hotel is set back from the street by a garden bath, run by a mother & daughter. Very quiet, pleasant, reasonable ($95?) for a dbl.
Oops - that's garden PATH, not bath!
