Hi--we've been to Roussillon numerous times but have never walked the ochre fields and would like to. Where does one find the trail exactly to walk from the village? Many thanks.

Hi Robyn,
The trail is very easy to find - up past the big parking lot that's south of the village. Just ask anyone in town and you'll be sure to find it.
Personally, though, I'd suggest doing your walk in the Colorado of Provence over by Rustrel. Much less crowded and on a much bigger scale and more beautiful and varied.

Thank you for that tip Kevin--maybe we will as the once quiet Rousillon of our first visit 25 years ago is so busy now. Will look up driving distance to Rustrel and check it out.
