Where to go for a week after the Peloponnese?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are house sitting for two weeks in the Peloponnese next month (Kalamata) then have a week to fill before heading to our next destination.

Here's what we need help with: What would be the best use of that week and what would others recommend? We have not spent time in Greece before and are not beach people so would prefer to see small villages, interesting cultural areas and more typical regions or islands.

We are very well travelled and prefer not to rush around and see five places in a week if we can have quality time in one or two. We're headed to England afterwards so will probably fly out of Athens at the end of the week.

Many thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
