Hi,
I'll be traveling to Italy later this month, point of entry will be Milan where I'll be for one day/ night before traveling to Bologna. I'm staying near the Duomo.
Could anybody tell me if there's a place at the Malpensa airport or near the Duomo where I could buy a sim card?
Thanks.
Where to buy Sim card in Milan?

There is a TIM shop in the Galleria Victoria Emanulle II. TIM is the name of the Italian Telephone Company, and the Galleria is off the Duomo plaza. There are other TIM shops in Milan, as well as other mobile phone shops such as Vodaphone. I was recently in Milan via Malpensa. There were no shops between the plane and passport control. Im not sure if there is a mobile phone shop in the airport.
You will need to have your passport with you to get a SIM card. For a telephone, a 10 euro TIM sim card buys 5 euros worth of minutes and free data for a month. You can also buy a separate card for an ipad. if you are using cell phone, make sure its unlocked and works on the frequencies used in italy.
Thanks Maxima for that information.
