My daughter is very interested in the costumes from the Renaissance period. She has been getting involved in the festivals here in the states.We will be in London in June & wonder if any of the markets have bits & pieces that could be used for costumes? Prices for ready made costumes can be quite pricey here so any cheap tips would be great.

here's a link to what are called "vintage" clothing markets in London - obviously there won't be anything actually renaissance [we didn't have the renaissance as such here and anything from that period will be in museums] but your DD might find items that she can adapt.
