the hotels in lyon are the comfort hotel saint antoine on l rue du port du temple. the other is the elysee hotel at 92 rue eduart-herriot. it really is confusing. we have never been to lyon before and there seems to be very little info we could find. i am grateful for any info or advice. thnks again

judie, I too have been looking for a hotel in Lyon for a quick visit in September. If you are trying to find out about different neighborhoods or streets, go to www.pageszoom.com. Click on the icon in the middle of the screen and it will take you to Pages Jaunes (which I use all the time for Paris). Put in the name of the hotel and at the bottom of the page enter Lyon as the city and Rhone as the department. You will get a picture of the hotel and can "walk" up and down the street with a click of the mouse. When I was doing the search, I only asked for one particular hotel, but it brought up pages of listings, many with websites. I felt like I had won the lottery!! Try it and if you have a problem, send me an e-mail and I'll send a link. Peg

Try www.lyon-france.com for hotel listings, etc. We stayed at the Hotel Des Beaux Arts in May, and got the two for one Lyon weekend deal.

The location of our hotel when we visited Lyon in 1999 was ideal. All the details are in our travelogue http://www.thetravelzine.com/lyon599.htm <BR>TheTravelzine.com is non-commercial
